Last night we went for a walk right around dark. Peyson fell asleep while I enjoyed time out of the house. The fireflies were out. I love the innocence of summer, all the beauty that it brings.
Today it was hot! So we went swimming. We stopped by the store to get some swimming diapers and grabbed some cool sunglasses on our way out. We splashed around in the cool water and enjoyed time with friends.
We came home and had a picnic on the kitchen floor. My kid likes nectarines and cheetos. And I do too.
Then we got all cleaned up and took a nap.
I love days filled with fun, days full of happiness. I love Missouri Summers.
